Because the Inn is the restored residence of a 19th Century millionaire, no two rooms are exactly alike. But, all are warm, friendly, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Most have a private bath, air conditioning and telephone. Several are large enough to accommodate families or groups traveling together.

Downstairs is a large parlor with original antiques throughout: sofas, easy chairs, organ, tapestries, oriental carpets and a friendly African Gray Parrot "Coco" complete the picture.

In the morning, guests come down to a beautiful sight: a buffet table is loaded with muffins, pastries, fresh fruit, cereal, juices and three varieties of Waterbury's very own Green Mountain Coffee. Then come individually prepared selections cooked to order from the kitchen: Eggs Benedict, Belgian waffles, a variety pancakes and omelets, Harrington's cob smoked bacon, sausage, Huevos Rancheros to name a few. In fine weather you can enjoy all this on our beautiful outside deck.

Recently we added wireless Internet access for you to use for free during your stay.

General Information

Room rates are based on double occupancy, size, amenities, decor and seasonal demand. Add $20 for each additional person in standard seasons and $30 in special seasons.

Reservations are guaranteed by credit card or personal check. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover cards.

Reservations can be canceled no later than 14 days prior to arrival. If the reservation is not canceled by this time it will be billed for the full amount of the stay plus tax. However, if the room can be rebooked for all or part of the reserved period, the corresponding amount will be refunded.

Check in: From 3 PM. If late or early arrival is anticipated, please let us know.

Check out: By 11 AM if not otherwise arranged.

The Inn is non-smoking throughout. Smoking is permitted outdoors only.
